The Mankato River Ramble for 2022 is on Sunday, October 9th and will have three beautiful rides (choose from 12, 26, or 42 mile routes). Expect live bands and delicious refreshments at all four rest stops and the Land of Memories staging area. The Ramble is fully supported with sag wagons, ride marshals, and mechanics. The event is sponsored by the Bicycle Alliance of Minnesota and helps raise money to support Mankato-area bicycle events, programs, and infrastructure. You ride any route at whatever pace you wish. Your ride leader is planning – somewhat ambitiously — to do the 42 mile route, but reserves the right to change that in the event of weather that is too hot, too cold, or too wet — all possibilities in Minnesota on October 9! The ride leader and other TCBC friends will probably begin the route around 9:00 am if you want to find us at the ride start.
Adult registration is $40 (+ $2.99 fee) until October 4th; the price goes to $45 after that. BikeMN members are eligible for a $5 discount. Youth up to age 17 can ride for free if accompanied by an adult. The ride begins at Land of Memories park, just off Highway 169, south of downtown Mankato. Check in is between 8:00 a.m. and 10:15 a.m. Riders are expected to be finished by 3:00 p.m.
Follow this link for complete details and registration: BikeMN Events – Mankato River Ramble As with all TCBC Outreach rides, TCBC members get mileage credit but are not covered by TCBC Insurance. Please register for the ride on the TCBC ride calendar and let the leader know your mileage via text or email if you are unable to make contact in person.
