Mankato River Ramble

BikeMN’s annual Mankato River  Ramble Ride is on Sunday October 8. Known for its picturesque fall scenery and homemade pie rest stop , the ride starts at Land of Memories Park. 100 Amos Owen Ln, Mankato. Four mileage options are 8, 12, 26 and 42. Check in time is 7:30 to 10:15 . You may start riding at 8 am and must finish by 3 pm. To register online go to Bikemn.org website (https://www.bikemn.org/all-events/mankato-river-ramble/). The cost before Oct 5 is $40 plus a $2.95 fee. Route maps and GPS will also be found here. I will leave at 8:15 and ride a C+ pace if you wish to join me. Take hwy 169 south, exit McCauley st, turn left onto Amos Owen ln. Camping  can be found at Minneopa State Park (3 miles away) and Land of Memories park, though most of those sites are rv electric. Mankato has many 2 star hotels: Super 8, Microtel etc. Please note TCBC insurance is not available on this outreach ride.
