Saint Paul Classic
The annual Classic is celebrating its 27th birthday on Sunday, September 12, 2021! The Classic will be smaller in size but still sport all of your favorite features - live music, a lovely route, and delicious refreshments. Can you help us make this party on wheels a success?
Each year we recruit about 400 volunteers to help pull off this ride to remember and fundraiser. From slicing delicious watermelon and keeping our riders safe to being a Zero Waste Ambassador and helping out at Rest Stops, volunteers are an essential part of what makes this event so fun.
All volunteers get a complimentary t-shirt, an invitation to our volunteer appreciation party, and a free ride on the Classic (if your shift permits). I just signed up to be a ride marshal! It's a good deal. I hope to see lots of TCBCers out there!
I notice they are asking ride marshals to have current first aid training.
First aid training is available online for $12.95 , certification good for 2 years . Go to cpr.io or google first aid certification . It’s some online reading followed by an online pass/fail test. As a former respiratory therapist I did the whole thing in 20 minutes. ( Nurses are probably faster.)It’s basic first aid , no cpr certification. Marina
