Perhaps you heard that our friends at Free Bikes 4 Kidz (FB4K) were the victims of a robbery earlier this month. TCBC donates to FB4K and would like to help them out in a hands-on way as well. We are organizing a team of TCBCers to spend a few hours cleaning, prepping or wrenching bikes. Our date is Friday, December 10th from noon - 3 pm at their Brooklyn Center Warehouse. Volunteers of all abilities and skill levels are needed and welcome. If you are interested in joining us, please contact me (John Benda) at johnbenda@comcast.net. I will send out further info on how to register for a particular job and their exact location. Feel free to bring along another friend or family member. We'd love to have you join us! (They do have Covid protocols in place; volunteers are spread out and required to wear masks.)
