My fellow bicyclists. There is a huge event that will be coming to Theodore Wirth Park this March. It is The COOP FIS Cross Country World Cup Sprint Race Finals with lots of activities including fat biking and others. Following all the activities on March 14, 15, and 16 will be the top skiers in the world competing right here in the Twin Cities on March 17.

I am helping get the word out to the bicycle community! I was just notified by the organizers that there is now a $5 discount for bicyclists for the March 17 event. The discount code is “WC5OFFBIKE” and is valid for infield tickets purchased between now and February 9. This reduces the price from $30.00 to $25.00. Ticket prices will go up to $35 on February 24. So hurry and get your tickets now. Here is the link to purchase tickets and to see all the activities open to the public, including the fat tire event!

Finally here is the link to the World Cup Race: Our own Jessie Diggins who, along with Kikkan Randall won the first Gold Metal in cross country ski racing for the United States in 2018, will be competing. She was instrumental in bringing the World Cup Race to Minnesota and the United States. The video of Jessie's incredible finish in Korea is at this link:

I already have my tickets and hope to see you there!
