Bikes Needed!

Are you one of those people with a lot of bikes just sitting in your garage, basement, bedroom or living room? If so, now is the time to consider donating one of those stagnant bikes, adult or youth, to Venture North. I learned they are relying on the sale of used/refurbished bikes until their business becomes more stable.

 

Venture North is the only black owned bike shop in Minnesota, if not the Midwest. Their business model includes a strong emphasis on community outreach working with youth providing opportunities for them to grow through bikes as the vehicle for learning. Kids will learn cycling (rules of the road) and how to repair bikes. In short, Venture North is in dire need of donatable bikes to sell at their shop.
